Laser Scanning
One of the latest tools to become available to the design and manufacturing world is laser scanning. Here at David Wolfe Design, we utilize this technology with our FARO Arm Quantum M blue light laser scanner. The laser can measure physical objects and translate those measurements into 3D CAD space in a variety of formats for inspection or reverse engineering. Our laser scanner is portable, so this activity can be done in our office, shop, or even at our customer’s location.
Inspection
Dimensional inspection of manufactured parts is critical to quality control and verification of the manufacturing operation. Laser scanning provides the capability to accurately inspect physical products even with the most complicated geometry.
Reverse Engineering
